Habit.
Perennial. Culms 110 cm tall. Ligule an eciliate membrane, 5 mm long.
Leaf-blades 5 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface glabrous.
Inflorescence.
Inflorescence compound, a panicle. Panicle 11–11.5 cm long.
Spikelets.
Fertile spikelets many flowered, with at least 2 fertile florets (2–6),
comprising 2–6 fertile floret(s), 15 mm long.

glume lanceolate, keeled, 1-keeled, 5 -nerved. Upper glume lanceolate, 8–11 mm
