Australian Distribution: Queensland, New South Wales.
Notes. In coastal and central-western areas of Qld and N.S.W., extending from N of Cairns to S of Sydney. Occurs on a variety of soils, from black clay in the N to red-brown sandy loam in the S, often in disturbed habitats such as cleared brigalow country and railway enclosures, and also in mixed grasslands and Eucalyptus woodland. Recorded from some areas as becoming more common with grazing.
