Notes. One
specimen from Vic. with flat, glabrous leaves, glabrous sheath and nodes, but
otherwise apparently conforming to sp. A number of specimens apparently
cleistogamous, with small (0.3 mm) anthers retained at the top of the fruit and
tightly enclosed within the lemma.
SE Australia, Tas.,
Vic., S.A., and N.S.W. Occcurring in a variety of habitats, but often in open
woodland and heath, and moist, shady situations. Flowers Nov.-Dec. Fruits
